    About the SF90 Stradale

    Design

The SF90 Stradale is the most aero-honed Ferrari road car to date. A forged carbon underfloor, active rear shut-off Gurney, and disciplined shut-lines route airflow through the body rather than around it, generating 390 kg of downforce at 250 km/h. The wheelbase sits one tier longer than the F8 Tributo to package the rear-axle battery without compromising cabin proportions, and the cockpit shifts to a fully digital HMI centred on a 16-inch curved instrument cluster.

    Engine

Three electric motors and a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 combine for 986 hp routed through an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Two front-axle motors deliver all-wheel drive on demand, while a rear motor sits between engine and gearbox to fill turbo lag and recover energy under braking. The 7.9 kWh battery supports 25 km of pure-electric range and an eDrive mode that powers the front axle alone for low-speed urban use.

    Key Models

Retractable hard-top variant. Same drivetrain and outputs; roughly 100 kg added for the roof mechanism. Indicative 5-10% premium over the coupe.

    Important Facts

    First Hybrid Flagship

The SF90 Stradale is the first series-production V8 Ferrari to combine three electric motors with an electrified front axle, and the marque's first plug-in hybrid road car. It set the architectural template for the 296 GTB that followed.

    Allocation Discipline

At peak, Ferrari order books tracked roughly two to three years of demand for the SF90. Atelier and Tailor Made specifications routinely cleared above MSRP at delivery through 2022-2023, per dealer guidance we have seen.

    Limited Variants

The XX Stradale at 799 units and the XX Spider at 599 units are the most collectible specifications. Allocation is closed; both trade only on the secondary market, with confirmed provenance and low mileage driving material price separation.

    Investment Profile

Pricing has cooled from the 2022-2023 peak but the floor has held through 2025. Spider variants carry an indicative 5-10% premium over coupes; Assetto Fiorano cars a further 10-15%, based on specialist dealer comps.
